The organisation takes part in the following specific HBE activities PIA was instrumental in the development of the "Healthy Spaces & Places" website. This comprehensive set of reousrces and information was developed through a unique collaboration between the National Heart Foundation of Australia, the Australian Local Government Association and the Planning Institute of Australia to encourage local governments to create communities where structure, design and placement lead to healthier outcomes and people-friendly places. The principle resources for Healthy Spaces & Places are the website www.healthyplaces.org.au and a training package has recently been developed.
