Topping the housing research charts – in two countries…

The Centre is immodestly pleased to report that CFRC outputs were well-represented among 2021’s ‘most downloaded’ reports from the Analysis and Policy Online website (see APO 2021 rankings). On this basis, we arguably published Australia’s top two housing research reports of the year.

Our first ‘COVID-19: rental housing and homelessness impacts’ report for the UNSW-ACOSS Poverty and Inequality Partnership (authors: Hal Pawson, Chris Martin, Alistair Sisson, Sian Thompson) was ranked no. 2 in APO’s ‘Social Issues’ category and also no. 4 in the ‘Health’ category.

Also, our report ‘Housing: Taming the Elephant in the Economy’ led by Duncan Maclennan and co-authored by Bill Randolph, Hal Pawson and Fatemeh featured at no. 4 in APO’s 2021 ‘Built Environment’ rankings.

Meanwhile, Hal Pawson also co-authored ‘Homelessness Monitor England 2021’, designated by leading industry magazine Inside Housing as the UK’s top housing research report of 2021.
