Yang Lin recently submitted his Ph.D. thesis for examination completed at the University of Sydney in the school of Computer Science and associated with CSIRO. Yang alos completed a Bachelors degree with the University Medal in Electrical Engineering at University of Sydney 2019. 

During his Ph.D. study, Yang conducted research on time series forecasting and improved the accuracy, speed and interpretability of forecasting models. He is comfortable with popular data science tools for machine learning and data mining such as Python, PyTorch, Tensorflow, R, SQL and Tableau and cloud computing services such as HPC, AWS and Azure. His research focus is on temporal and spatial modelling, Transformer, CNN, knowledge distillation, and deep learning.
