Geoff Roberts AO appointed new head of Greater Sydney Commission

Many congratulations to Adjunct Prof Geoff Roberts AO on his appointment to Chief Commissioner for the Greater Sydney Commission. Geoff steps into the role from being Deputy Commissioner and Economic Commissioner since the GSC’s establishment in 2015. He replaces Lucy Turnbull AO who was the inaugural Commissioner. Geoff has been Chair of the City Futures Research Centre’s External Advisory Panel since 2015 and has worked closely with our senior team in supporting the Centre’s development over this time. We wish him every success in what is one of the most challenging positions in city planning in the country.
